Hippo Lodge is
situated on east bank of the Kafue River. It has
three uniquely built thatched chalets, all with
spectacular river views, cater for your comfort, be
it a romantic getaway, a family holiday or a small
group safari.
There is also a secluded and spacious villa, known
as Stone House, which sleeps six, has it’s own
kitchen and comes with cleaner/kitchen helper to
assist you.
There are 4 safari-style tents, set under reed
shelters. The tents comfortably accommodate two
people (twin beds) and each have an en-suite
open-air bathroom and shower. The centre of
activity at Hippo is the large thatched open dining
and lounge area, having an unsurpassed view of the
Kafue River, and an ideal spot for the evening
sundowner or a swim.
